My professional background includes 30 years in the financial industry in San Francisco. I started with Newman Securities: a family stock and options business at the former Pacific Stock Exchange. I served on several self-regulatory exchange committees and boards and was promoted to senior management for Newedge USA. I was also elected and served 2 terms on the NYSE’s Board of Directors. Since becoming a realtor, I have served a 4-year term as a Director for Marin REALTORS, the last two as their Treasurer. My wife Anne and I tend a beautiful garden filled with roses and fruit trees in our home in San Anselmo for 38 years. We love hiking and biking on trails around our beloved Mt. Tam. I continue to enjoy volunteer projects which include taking groups of students and adults to Mexico to build homes every year for the less fortunate. I make a mean margarita, I’m told that it’s hard to keep up with me on the slopes of Tahoe and are referred to as “The Commodore” for my grilling skills with a Weber BBQ. My wife Anne and I were both born and raised in Marin and still live in our first home in San Anselmo. I vividly remember – it was 1988 – an aggressive sellers’ market. Working with positive professionals was key in helping us get into our home.

I’ve been a Real Estate Agent for over 8 years enjoying a growing business in our competitive real estate market. I have just completed a 4 years term as a Director for the Marin REALTORS, the last two as their Treasurer. With my long history and knowledge of Marin, and personal relationships with industry professionals, I’ve created a team that can get your home ready for market and sold at top dollar – without compromising anyone’s integrity.

I also have a particular gift for working with seniors and empty nesters who are downsizing. I have guided clients as well as three sets of parents through this major life transition. I enjoy community building projects which includes taking a group of students to Mexico to build homes every year for less fortunate Families.
